Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving!! I think that it's my favorite holiday. Each year we go to Salt Lake City UT. Thats where Chad's cousins are, so we all meet there. For the past couple of years we have done Thanksgiving at Jana's gymnastics studio. Jana is Chad's cousin. It is so fun. Everyone does their own thing. The kids play on the equipment and the adults look at the paper for Friday morning sales and play games. We usually get there around 12 noon and don't leave until 9pm. So it's a full day of play. We all love it!!

North Pole Express

While we were in Salt Lake for Thanksgiving, we went to Heber and rode on the North Pole Express. It's a lot of fun. They pass out cookies and hot chocolate. We sing songs and tell stories. Finally we pick up Santa Clause. This picture makes Santa look a little tipsy but he was great!

New addition to the family

Chad and the girls have wanted a dog for a long time. After a long time searching Chad found this English Pointer, Dixie. They love her!! She is a great hunting dog. She's a year and a half and is already trained. Even though I don't care for dogs I have to admit that she's a great dog.

Halloween at the Auto Museum

Chad has learned that the auto museum does trick or treating and you can get in for only $2 a person. He loves this. He loves looking at cars so it works for the whole family!

Annual Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

We were able to meet up with our friends the Moores there. We had a good time and the food was fabulous as always!!

Trip to Vegas

Vegas Trip

A couple of my friends and I decided to take a trip to Las Vegas. We had an awesome time!! We would leave our room around 10ish and wouldn't get back in bed until around 2am!! We went shopping, ate great food, bought eyelashes, went to see Lion King (with my sister in law Kasey), and "modeled" for ourselves!! I swear people must have thought that we were so vain!! It was so fun!! We never really stopped and by the time we got home, I was sooo tired!! But I'd totally do it again! Love ya girls!

Sailboat Trip on Lake Tahoe

As a family activity, we had the chance to go sailing on Lake Tahoe. It was getting a little cold but it was fine. We could of used a little more wind. We could go out too far without stopping. We all really enjoyed it. Aubrey sang to all the people inside the boat. She did a great job. Aubrey and Lauren both got the chance to sit with the "driver" and was able to ask questions. It was funny, I was standing with Lauren and she finally asked me to leave. She wanted some alone time with the guy!! Holy Cow! We had a great time!

Tahoe Bike Ride

Chad talked me into going bike riding with him, Christy and

Dan. I'm really glad that I went. I did have some challenging times but it was so pretty!! I know that I need to go again so I can get good at it. It would be a great activity that Chad and I can do together. Chad really enjoys mountain biking and feels that he can't get enough of it. After this ride I needed some time to heal but I feel I am ready to go again. Too bad there's snow in the mountains now!! :) Love ya Chad!!

Lauren's Fourth Birthday

Lauren had a great time for her fourth birthday. We rented a bounce house and put up our water slide. We invited Lauren's friends and their families for a big fun BBQ birthday. It was great! After a while Lauren decided that she wanted to get all fancy for celebrating her special day!!

First Day of School

The first day of school is always exciting for everyone!! Aubrey started third grade and Lauren is doing her second year in preschool. Next year she will be going to school with Aubrey. That will be fun for them to ride the bus together. My girls are getting so big!! I hope they have a great year!
